INTRODUCTION

Universal Academy, first let's start with what it is. If you have made it to this page, you are enrolled or curious to enroll in University Academy, the highest and most immersive dueling experience you will ever get in Yu-Gi-Oh, powered by head scripter "Colress" you will see cards behave in real time like you've never seen before. 

So let's get started, what's different here than traditional Yu-Gi-Oh? Yu-Gi-Oh goes through many testing phases before cards actually get put out, they go through reworks, balancing changes, and multiple tests so they make sure they don't break the game and keep it as fair and as balanced as possible. We are the complete opposite. We believe a card should have no limits, it should be able to unleash everything in it possible regardless of balance. Well then, what happens if there was a card that was so strong it was unbeatable? You'll have to find out what to do yourself, you aren't going to be coddled here with the balance traditional Yu-Gi-Oh gives you, so if you would like to play a balanced game by all means, leave this site now. 

Now if you are still here, I like you. You aren't afraid of a challenge and you want to aim for the top, so let's get you settled with information that you'll need going forward. Please be sure to check the "Evolution" and "Danger Walls" page you are done reading this entire page. 

                "Link Summoning"

Previous Link Summoning rules are all reverted

since Academy now has everything official. Link 

Summoning will work the same (Until you see the

evolution tab).

Link's do however, gain half the "ORIGINAL" attack

of the highest attack monster used to link summon. 

Effects do not transfer. 


     Transcendence Summoning:

Transcendence Summoning: Transcendence summoning is a method more so of transcending into a new state while using the same card. This method was found out eons ago however was cut away from the rulebook entirely because of it's function. In the Academy, it's completely allowed. For those unfamiliar with Transcendence Summoning it is a method where a card with multiple names are able to quick-change into multiple forms. When you quick-chain cards cannot activate in response to this and all previous effects and attack and defense points carried over to the new card. (This does not include LV monsters) in fact not many cards are able to do this, so if you need confirmation please send a PM to PokePika (CEO). We'll try to update chain summoning so it's not as vague but it's a method that is still very complicated to understand. Also you are able to exchange out one version of the card be returning it into the deck to obtain a different version. It should be obvious that cards that are able to achieve this are an extreme force to be reckoned with.

                                                                                           Crafting, Duel Bots, and Trading Filters.


Crafting and Duel bots are new features introduced in academy and are located in the Dorm Hall. Crafting can be found in the Crafting Room near the main hall, and Duel Bots will be located at the far end of the dorm hall.

Crafting can be used to create machinery spells/trap cards with certain materials that you can find around the world. You'd also be able to craft machine monsters! If a card seems like it could be crafted via machinery, it can be crafted there. 

Duel Bots are for practice if you have nobody to duel against, they do give pointers so make sure to get the most you can out of them. They also do have various cooldowns so keep that in mind. Bots go all the way up to rank A tier. 

Trading Filters is another new way to trade, you can download it as an app in your room or use the free version in the main hall, look for a card you want and you'll be able to see other people that have that card for trade and what they are trading for it! If you found somebody, send them a message and make the trade!
